Cancellation Policy

1. Introduction

This Cancellation Policy explains how you can manage your subscription to Blooms Services, how to cancel, and what happens to your data after a downgrade.

2. How to Cancel

You can cancel your paid subscription (Starter, Pro, or Agency) at any time, for any reason.

Preferred Method (Instant):

  1. Log in to your Blooms account.
  2. Go to Settings > Billing.
  3. Click on "Manage Subscription" (this will open the Stripe Customer Portal).
  4. Select "Cancel Plan".

Alternative Method: You may also contact us at [email protected] to request cancellation. Please note that email requests may take up to 48 business hours to process.

3. When Cancellation Takes Effect

Cancellation is not immediate.

  • When you cancel, you are stopping the next automatic renewal.
  • You will continue to have full access to your paid features until the end of your current billing cycle.
  • Example: If you pay on the 5th of the month and cancel on the 10th, you will keep your Pro access until the 5th of the next month.

Starter Plan Free Trial: If you cancel during the 7-day free trial, you will not be charged. Your account will revert to the Free plan immediately.

4. Effects of Cancellation (Downgrade)

Once your current billing period ends, your account will be automatically downgraded to the Free Plan.

Important consequences of downgrading:

  • Website Limits: If you have more active websites than the Free plan allows (currently 1), your additional websites will be unpublished (taken offline) automatically. They will not be deleted, but they will no longer be visible to the public.
  • Branding: The "Made with Blooms" badge will reappear on your remaining public website.
  • Analytics: You will lose access to detailed visitor analytics.
  • AI Credits: Your monthly AI credit quota will revert to the Free plan allowance.
  • Storage: If you exceed the storage limit of the Free plan, you may be blocked from uploading new images until you free up space.

5. Refunds on Cancellation

Cancellation does not trigger a refund for the current period.

  • We do not offer pro-rated refunds for unused time.
  • For details, please refer to our Refund Policy.

6. Reactivation

If you change your mind, you can reactivate your subscription at any time before the billing cycle ends to keep your status. If you reactivate after the downgrade, you will need to manually republish your websites.

7. Account Deletion vs. Cancellation

  • Cancellation means stopping future payments but keeping your account on the Free tier.
  • Deletion means permanently removing your account and all data (websites, images, conversations, links) from our servers. This is irreversible. You can request deletion in your Account Settings.

8. Changes to Subscription Fees

Blooms reserves the right to change subscription fees. If we increase the price, we will provide you with at least 30 days' notice via email, giving you the opportunity to cancel before the new price takes effect.
